The news came in this afternoon that the team was going in a different direction.
Team Manager, Joey Blute, said, “We’ve decided to part ways with Mike (Carthy) after four solid years. He’s helped us win many tournaments. We wish him luck with whatever path he chooses in life.”
It is not certain if Carthy will be looking for another professional paintball team or if he will take the year off.
We’ve contacted Carthy, but have not heard back. Stay tuned for information as it develops.
Houston heat…..
bad bad….
I hope he goes to heat!
tampa is still sweeping this year.
tampa is still sweeping this year.
tampa is still sweeping this year.
I think this year is gonna be hard for any pro team.
wtf.. he is Yoda.. a case of paint just fell out of the air per game for damage.. he is literally a gatling gun.. 15 pods..
Any team would kill to have such an experienced player such as Carthy on their team. Carthy has always been and always will be an iconic player in the paintball world. He is a great guy on and off the field, not one bit of arrogance you normally find at the Pro level. And always willing to lend a hand; providing advise and tips to players. I wish him the best of luck and GRATZ to any team (Pro or D1) that picks him for the season.
Good luck, friend!
