This is a candid interview from Alex Spence of professional paintball team Tampa Bay Damage. Social Paintball met up with Alex in his home in Clearwater, FL where he sat down with us and gave us an exclusive interview about his Cancer, what he’s been doing, and how he got started in paintball. He also gives some advice to players that are starting out and let’s us know his plans for the 2012 season.

JRab not on the roster?
Jrab is on the Tampa Bay Damage roster, the Pro Team of Damage. Sacramento Damage will be a D1 team.
Sorry for the confusion, I was referring to the pro squad. Didn’t see him there either on the APPA website. But I guess there is still time to get him officially on their roster
Why is Alex playing in D1 and not pro?
Alex is coming out of a 1 year hiatus from paintball. Try going back into pro after taking a year off. Now add to that that fact that he fought cancer. If you watch that video, he explains that he had to re-learn how to walk, twice!
The fact that he is even playing paintball at all is amazing…
