Los Angeles Ironmen Pro Player and World Champion Mike Paxson will host a 3-man tournament on January 5th and will teach a clinic on January 11th, 2014.

The 3-man event has a prize package totaling over $2,000 for the top three teams (prizes based on a minimum of 10 registered teams). As for the clinic Mike will be instructing at, this will be an opportunity for female paintball players local to Florida to be scouted for the all-female tournament team, Destiny Paintball.

3-Man Shoot Out
Held at Extreme Rage Paintball Park of Fort Myers, Florida.

Entry for the Mike Paxson 3-man Shoot Out Event is $300 and it’s an Open Division, but with a twist. “Open” in the sense that pro players can compete, but the whole team can’t be all pro players. The point breakdown is as follows:

Pro = 60 points
D1/D2 = 40
D3/D4 = 20
D5 = 10

Max points per team = 100

1st Place Prize: 3 Proto Reflex Guns
2nd: 3 i4 Goggles
3rd: 3 Paintball Cases

There will be a raffle that will include various prizes from Dye, Valken, Virtue, Planet Eclipse, Destiny Paintball, and Mike Paxson merchandise. Open teams will receive 3 free raffle tickets. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased for $10/each to increase your chances of winning!

Paxson Clinic & Destiny Paintball All-Female Tryouts
A fee of $75 will include a full day of training under Mike Paxson’s instruction and the chance to be seen and earn a spot on Destiny’s Florida line. Destiny Florida will compete in regional events on the east coast such as the Central Florida Paintball Series and as funds permit, as far as Maryland to compete in the Mid-Atlantic Paintball Series. The idea is to form a Florida line that can practice at least every other weekend (or more). If you’re not local to Florida, but you are interested in getting a chance to be seen for the possibility of playing as a guest for Destiny, contact Bea Paxson at PaintballDestiny@Gmail.com.

Destiny has a west coast line, as well, and the date for that event will be announced mid-January. Destiny has two regional teams and when it’s time to compete nationally, the two coastal teams combine forces. Destiny is the first all-female team to win a national event this past October in Las Vegas; the 2013 NPPL D4 World Champions!
