Fan Poll: Which is the higher level non-pro division?

d1

Okay paintball fans and players of all ages, here at the Social Paintball offices, we are having an intense argument/ discussion, that I feel we need your help to resolve?

In the PSP we have Pro, D1, D2, D3, and D4 (there’s D5 for cup as well). In the NPPL we have Pro, D1, D2, D3, and D4. In the Millennium Series we have CPL (Pro), SPL (Semi-Pro), D1, D2, and D3. In the past the PSP had Semi –Pro, but when the economy went bad and everyone tightened there belts; that went away.

I feel like Millennium SPL is Semi-Pro when compared to the US series, some of my office mates refuse to accept this, and insist that PSP D1/NPPL D1 = SPL.

We need your votes and discussion to decide this. A comment explaining your reasoning may sway some opinion and would therefore be AWESOME!

Thanks in Advance!

Is the Millennium Series SPL (Semi-Pro) the same as PSP D1 and NPPL D1? Is the PSP D1 better than NPPL D1, or vice versa?

Which is the higher level non-pro division?

David Hōgg
I'm an Editor for Social Paintball. I have been playing paintball for about 8 years. Like many, I started playing outlaw ball with some friends. At some point I decided to play recreational ball at my local field and then found scenario ball, played that for a few years. I decided to try tournament ball and have been playing that for about 3 years. I help run, what I consider to be, a very large program. I enjoy helping promote the sport and helping new players.

    • I am going to have to agree with David. This stemmed from a discussion we were having. We don’t steal other sites ideas, unlike some do. We have a ton more things coming, so stay tuned and thanks for voting! Your feedback is needed.
